As a youth development professional and a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia, I have spent my 15+ years in nonprofit organizations that focused on the positive growth and development of youth where they are.  In those 15 years, 12 of them were focused on career development/counseling for youth.  I've had the opportunity to work with young people and speak with them about their goals, their desires, their support systems, and the messages that repeat in their heads due to external and internal influences.  What consistently repeated was that of how the environment they were in continued to dictate their future.

My goal is to provide an inspirational piece that serves as a portable reminder of "where you are right now is not where you have to be", and your current or past experiences will only dictate your future if you allow it to.

I currently hold a LPC, NCC, DCC, and a CAMS II credential (Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Distance Certified Counselor and Certified Anger Management Specialist II).
